Equine management has been the best choice for me for thousands of reasons. I of course have always loved horses, however in these past two years my lab teacher has taught me so many useful and logical points when it comes to horse care. My junior year I learned more about barn and horse care, while my senior year I learned the health side. We learned vital signs in October and we learned how to give injections to the horses. She not only taught us medical care, but actual care, such as how to have a horse comfortable while riding, lunging and grooming. My greatest strength I have learned in this program is learning how to check vital signs and wraps legs, as shown above. I believe I am the best candidate for this job because I am a hard worker, I am always early and I always try my best at every job I do.
